Earth Day in Winona 2012.

We will again have a table full of education about liberty at the Winona Earth Day Extravaganza. If you love the Earth, or even just tolerate it, but especially if you love Freedom or Liberty then come and visit us at this gala event. We proved last year that freedom and ecology can get along together just fine. In fact, we still believe that ecology could get a huge boost from more freedom than from more government oppression and mismanagement and waste.

Tea Party Patriots Tax Day Rally 2012.

The Tea Party Patriots Tax Day Rally was a smashing success this year. The crowd was huge, the speakers were engrossing, and the live music was a pleasant bonus. LPMNSEA had a table and we distributed quite a few bumper stickers. "If guns kill people then pencils must cause misspelling errors" was without doubt the most popular with this conservative crowd. "The World's Smallest Political Quiz" garnered mostly libertarian results and some promising contacts.

Now if the Republicans can only get their acts together and actually walk the talk they were spouting, this country would be much better off.

Not gonna hold my breath on that one.

Libertarian Party of Minnesota State Convention 2012.

This year, the Libertarian Party of Minnesota and the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin got together for a joint state convention on Saturday, 4/14/2012. The day started with separate business meeting followed by a joint session of speeches, presidential candidate presentations, a very nice buffet meal, and two keynote speakers.

Several speakers talked of issues important to Minnesota or Wisconsin or both.

Sam Sloan, a publisher and noted chess player, is running for President. He gave an entertaining speech.

Representing R. Lee Wrights were Julie Fox and his campaign manager. They both spoke enthusiastically about Mr Wrights.

Gary Johnson gave us a very moving speech and garnered much attention throughout the convention.

After dinner, Walter Block of the Ludwig Von Mises Institute gave a very interesting speech.

Sharon Harris of the Advocates for Self Government told us of some ways to help sway conversations toward our point of view.

Welcome to the salvation of America.

The Tea Party is getting all the press. But the real ideas that have pushed them into the minds of America are the ones that we Libertarians have held firm to for 40 years. Ron Paul has run as a Republican in order to get elected but his ideas come straight from the Libertarian Party. But we also love peace and social freedoms that neither the Republicans nor the Tea Partiers nor disciples of huge government will even talk about.

If you love fiscal responsibility then you love the same cherished values we Libertarians love. If you love personal freedom then you love the same cherished values we Libertarians love. If you love Freedom and Liberty and Peaceful Cooperation then you need to check out what we have been saying all along and will continue to say no matter what any poll says.

The Libertarian Party.

The Party of Principle.

You owe it to current and future Americans and especially to yourself to check us out.

We are about Liberty and Freedom for all Individuals.

If you love liberty and would like to meet with fellow liberty loving people in the SouthEast Minnesota area, then you will be thrilled that we have an affiliate of the Libertarian Party of Minnesota to serve all in and around the SouthEast Minnesota area.
